Elisabeth Lauffer is a German-English literary translator based in the US. She received her B.A. in German Studies from Wesleyan University and her Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her career in literary translation began in 2014, and she has translated books published by MIT Press, Penguin Random House, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and has won numerous awards for translation.
