Join us for a presentation in the Tuttle Barn by award-winning author Thomas Hubka as he discusses his pioneering book, Big House, Little House, Back House Barn. Hubka’s research offers fascinating insight into the lives of the people who built the 19th century connected farmhouses that still dot the Maine countryside today. The presentation will include a discussion and Q&A about the Tuttle barn itself, which was once a part of a connected farmhouse and now stands as a living expression of an extinct way of life.
A light reception with the author will follow the program. Copies of Big House, Little House, Back House, Barn will be available for purchase at the event.
This program is open to all. A suggested donation of $10 for those who are able to contribute helps offset program costs.
