Luisa Neubauer is a German climate activist who co-founded the school strike for climate movement, known as Fridays for Future. A best-selling author of several books, Neubauer helped mobilize 1.4 million youth in Germany in 2019 and continues
to confront German politicians and media for ignoring or downplaying the climate crisis.
Sabine von Mering is the director of the Center for German and European Studies at Brandeis University, where she is also a professor or women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. von Mering is the co-editor of the forthcoming Routledge Handbook of Grassroots Climate Activism as well as a climate activist with 350Mass. She is the translator of Beginning to End the Climate Crisis.
Beth Daley is the executive editor and general manager of The Conversation and a Pulitzer prize finalist for climate reporting at The Boston Globe.
