The Saratoga Campaign is an important contribution to military sites and historical archaeology, bringing together scholars from different disciplines to illuminate the Revolutionary War battles fought at Saratoga. It is well illustrated and thoughtfully organized. Indeed, the book provides a model for sharing the results of archaeological research on military sites.
