Benjamin Ivry is an American writer on the arts, broadcaster and translator.

Sylvie Anne Goldberg is a professor at the Center for Historical Research, L’E´cole des Hautes E´tudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, where she heads the Jewish Studies Program. She is the author of several books, including Crossing the Jabbok: Illness and Death in Ashkenazi Judaism in Sixteenth- through Ninteenth-Century Prague and Clepsydra: Essay on the Plurality of Time in Judaism.

My research deals in the history of Jewish thought, with a special focus on political thought, the history of law and theories of Jewish modernity. I am also an expert in Israel Studies and my research in the history of Israel focuses on the relationship between law, religion and politics, and in particular in the history of religious Zionism.
